Stephen Harrison It's 2020 and it's been about a dozen years since I've had music make me feel this way. It's good, very good. Taking me back to the scene! Favorite track: If You're Going To Be Two-Faced, At Least Make One Of Them Pretty.
Metallurgical Fire
Metallurgical Fire thumbnail
Metallurgical Fire The best grind band around is a one man project. Though I think his 2019 album is a big experimental step up, this is still a work of erratic artistic genius. Hopefully 2020 will bring a new album. Favorite track: If You're Going To Be Two-Faced, At Least Make One Of Them Pretty.

Michael Yeager Best random BC find EVERRRRRR!!!!! Favorite track: I'm A Pacifist, And You're Asking For It.

supercoolguy It's music like this that makes me wish I was a scene kid in middle school Favorite track: If You're Going To Be Two-Faced, At Least Make One Of Them Pretty.
MindOverFour
MindOverFour thumbnail
MindOverFour Excellent schizophrenic grind that has lyrics focused on social criticisms and that are quite a bit less cheeky than the song titles. I'll admit that the song titles drew me in, but I stayed for the inventive music. Favorite track: Santa Jesus God Loves You No Matter What.
Sanity Renegade
Sanity Renegade thumbnail
Sanity Renegade Holy erratic mathgrind Batman! The music here feels like it's chaotically bouncing off the walls, while a closer listen reveals the calculated musicianship underneath. Ever twisting and turning, this is a band that never ceases to surprise and delight. This is not your run off the mill, stick to a formula kinda grind. This is insanity given a musical output. Keep em coming Chris! Favorite track: I'm A Pacifist, And You're Asking For It.

1.
Free of purpose his soul takes flight Into the sky and out of sight A happy ending to a horrid end A justified cause that heartache sent His body lay in the ditch of doubt Gaping wounds his heart ripped out No tongue no hands or feet Cut up mass of meat No angels can save His whole life he gave Mirror mirror on the wall Who is the fairest of them all? With the looks that make them fall And the claws she used to maul Pretty, vicious, lustful whore His cloudy eyes will never see The happiness that was to be The reaper isn't a man in shadow With crooked scythe his body hollow It is a harlot In her sins of scarlet
2.
Insipid dreams of frozen death Reminding us to take a breath The laws of life will break in two When the night approaches me and you We'll fall apart in arms of lust Our burning hearts turning to dust No way to know who you can trust On this frozen night with hearts of dust
3.
The curtain falls across the stage The twilight of time in this wretched age This is the hand that holds your heart It bears a ring death do us part You paid the whore that wasn't smart You let it drain your blood Who are you, you spineless fool? Weak-kneed and miniscule Can't get up from the ground Can't bear to make a sound What would your father say To see his son die in that way When they lower you in the ground Maybe then you'll make a sound Lie back down Caught it in the air You weren't supposed to stare It burrowed in your mind A cancerous hole left behind We both know the brutal truth You lost your tongue in the kissing booth Save your breath Let her shackle your leg to the Oak tree where you carved your love Deep in the bark in your childhood park You never asked why she wore that mask
4.
Deep down in the inherit abyss Deep down in the throws of this bliss A final dream embracing death's kill I wrote this note or i'd be remiss Were it not for your there'd be nothing I'd miss In this life of shit in this world of piss The height of our days cause me to reminisce The days I was a slave to the bliss of your kiss
5.
Intoxicating voices of a drawn out day Echoing the truths that lie in decay The figure of rot and the smell of trash Wanton abandon in a torrent of ash Dispel the rumors that seek to say That we all sit while the devils to play and I'll continue to wear this sash even after this plane will crash
6.
Waiting for orders waiting for time Waiting for death in the bowls of the mine A lifelong obsession to wither and die To bow and say nothing the ultimate crime With a gun in my pocket and a spear in my hands I'll make the pupetter dance The audience will laugh as he puts on a show And we'll bury his house as he rots down below We'll break down the chains that the devil had wrought And burn down the symbols his blood money bought The signs that once lit up and fought back the night Will crack from the pressure of our infamous fight And if there's a power that sees from above We'll ask him why he didn't let loose the flood
7.
Another dead day Another work day And endless procession of endless lies And endless contortion of buzzing flies The lick the wounds that do not heal Their souls are doomed to numb to feel Unknowing deception a thickening haze Consuming prescriptions turning nights to days They walk as zombies right into walls Drinking their coffee adderall disolved Huddled masses shuffling feet Inhaling gasses and sweating from heat They trade their lives They made the hive
8.
Feel the light Steal the sight Lose the fight Embrace the night You never told us why you acted so bad It's like you couldn't see why we're so mad The falling Building and the sands of time Eluding to broken skies and stones of lime The inane mistrust that comes with thee Is the only gift you'll receive from me It's what you're earned it's what you deserve The subtle urge to sit and observe To watch the ground as it falls out of sit To watch the thieves that steal the light To watch the towers that bow to the fight To watch the land as it's covered by night Now you'll feel it
9.
As we stand before the dividing line How cruel is fate that our souls entwine? That the fabric of being is torn and tattered While the reflection of our egos are far from shattered? Embrace the fire and dive right in Or run away and save your skin Be the coward if you will Be the one who takes the kill Be the one that just sits still Be the one that swallows the pill The mountains of pain meet the valleys of blood Tracks that we made dragging names through the mud Come to the black pool put your big tow in I'll give you the blade so you can peel off your skin Sail away from everything Fall away from everything Stake a claim in everything Then you become everything
10.
The sunrise of the magistrate Forces the elders to postulate The meaning of freedom exonerates While the hardship of loss intoxicates Oh bleeding hearts full of ice Can you just stop and theorize? Can's you help and see the glow Of heaven's light so far below? Belong now the discontent Of feelings lost, of heaven sent Of threats born from the malcontent To treasures left by dissidents Promise you won't ever leave The forest of life of luxury Making the water of heroes bleed Making the king of the wall decree That the sun is dead and so are we So lost we are in the endless sea
11.
Even if we reckon with fear We'll never truly live here Our precious hearts on our sleeves Covered in the lies that we weave We'll be kings and queens long before Ecstasy settles the score The smoke that flows through the veins I clutch Can hold me down for it weighs too much It circles, dances and tries to leave And it will rip me apart so I believe It's fear that pressures fear that kills Fear that pains us and forces down pills This beast, indomitable it's thirst, Unquenchable This mountain of flesh, twitching and pulsing It's mouth ever open, and it's eyes so inviting
